Plan Proposal and Consultation (Reg 15 and 16)
Formal submission of the plan to council and consultation. The consultation ran from 8 April 2019 to 20 May 2019.
Appointment of Independent Examiner and Examination (Reg 17)
The Examiner for North Tawton Neighbourhood Plan is Martin Lee, appointed 5 June 2019.
West Devon Borough Council submitted all the documents from Reg 15 and 16 to the Examiner.

Referendum
The North Tawton Neighbourhood Plan Referendum was held on Thursday 6 May 2021.
Decision (Reg 18a, 19 and 20)
Following a successful Referendum, the North Tawton Neighbourhood plan was adopted at Annual Council on 25 May 2021. It now forms part of the Development Plan for West Devon and should be used in deciding planning applications within the North Tawton Neighbourhood Area
